Hari ini Kamis, Tujuhbelas Maret Dua ribu sebelas

Its another one of those days when you are faced with your laptop without any particular story to write nor insight to share. I guess everyone come in a point in there life when inspiration leaves you, in order to experience what spiritual writters call as spiritual dryness. I am not saying that I'm in one but this feeling more than just something to be afraid of should be embraced with a whole and trusting heart. Both men and women, holy or not, have experienced this kind of desert experience which in one way or the other helped them reach the heights of contemplative prayer at the end of their journey. Similarly, not having the inspiration to write anything does not totally mean that its the end of everything. It could be a breathing point where one pauses for a time in order to get a wider perspective of things, and be able to have a different perspective in life. Living a monotonous life can sometimes be boring, but monotony does not always mean stagnation. One can live a routine without necessarily being stale or stagnant. It all depends on how one views life and how to make the most out of it. It is in seeing the small opportunity for creativity which breaks the boring wall of monotony.
