Therefore, since we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sins that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (Hebrews 12:1)

There is a great cloud of witnesses amidst us, let us leave our sinfulness, embrace the faith and continue running the race. This is the message written on a piece of paper I picked during the monthly gathering of the youth here in the parish. Frankly speaking, I started my day with a bad mood, its the typical day when you got up from the wrong side of the bed, when your spirit is so down and you just wanted to stay longer sleeping. I have committed by Sunday mornings for Sunday school, were kids of parishioners attending the 10 am mass can go while waiting for their parents. I was not feeling so good this morning, so I sent a message to those in charge that I wont be coming in this morning, otherwise I might just scold the kids. I think it would be better this way than go their, pressure myself and sacrifice doing good for the children. But aside from the kids, what really inspires me and keeps me going every Sunday are the young and teen volunteers who spend their precious Sunday morning for the kids.They are my cloud of witnesses who keeps me going and who inspires me to continue with the race, the ministry which God has given us.
