Putting to practice what we have learned in school would sometime mean adapting to new trends, as needed and given by circumstances. This is the beauty of learning, human beings are gifted with a continous search for truth and knowledge which allows them to both assimilate and adapt new insights. Although it is true that we have been prepared in school with the various subjects and courses that we take, but the ultimate test of all these is whether or not we can apply them in our daily lives. As many would say, experience can be the best teacher. One can not really say that they have achieved something unless they first put to good use practical lessons they learned from school. Today, we met the group of parents for our teen''s catechism class. I prepared myself for this meeting based from my previous experiences of attending meetings, but still got some reactions which I never expected nor did I prepare for. Probably it's a learning experience for me, a practical application of living in a multicultural society. Respect each other's opinion and understand where people are coming from.
